Health

NOTE : some parasitic or viral diseases can be transmitted by mosquito bites. The use of skin and clothing insect repellents is strongly recommended.

Malaria : endemic area in its main form (falciparum) in some areas distant from the Village (Amazonia regions) where some preventive measures are needed (prophylaxie medicinal).

Recommended vaccinations : diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, Hepatitis A and B. A vaccination against yellow fever is recommended for excursions in Amazonia.
