Discovery Desk

The Discovery Center offers a variety of excursions (extra cost) to discover the country - registration on the premises, subject to availability.

Arraial d'Ajuda (1/2 day)

Route to Arraial d' Ajuda, free time for shopping and free visits to traditional shops, restaurants and craft shops.

Espelho - Caraiva (1 day)

Pass through the region's trails to discover a variety of landscapes. Arrival at Espelho beach, free time for swimming. Travel by traditional boat along the sea to Caraiva, with lunch in a rustic seaside restaurant.

In the afternoon, after a visit to this picturesque village (still without electricity), you are taken up river, by traditional boat, passing the beautiful landscapes of the mangrove swamp.

On the way back, possibility of a stop to buy some Indian crafts at Imbiriba.

Espelho - Curuipe by jeep (1/2 day)

Two hours of off-road trails through steppes, rain forest and swamp to reach one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil: Espelho.

A light drink, swim, walk on the sand, have a snack and then return to the Village for lunch.

Porto Seguro (1/2 day)

A ferryboat crossing to reach Port Seguro, a route lining the coast up to the tribe " Jaquaira " Indians, who will show us their huts, how they make traps in the rain forest, medicinal plants and the traditions of the " Patacho " Indians

Later, visit to the historic quarter of Porto Seguro (1st church in Brazil), return to have lunch in the Village.

Porto Seguro by night (evening)

Experience the night-life of Porto Seguro, " passarela do alcohol ". After the ferry crossing, free dinner as you choose from numerous traditional restaurants in the city.

Free time to absorb the atmosphere of the lively streets of traditional villages within Brazil, with its many traditional drinks.

Salvador city tour (2 or 3 days)

Visit to the city of Salvador.

Pass by the most important churches (Bonfim and Sao Francisco), by the historic quarter of Pelourinho, the " Mercado Modelo " crafts market and the coast. At night, the folk spectacle in Bahia.

The beaches of Porto Seguro and Santo Andre (a la carte)

Tour of the beaches of Port Seguro, cross by ferryboat to Santo Andre to have lunch in a traditional inn by the sea. In the afternoon, possibility of round trip by the river Rio Joao in Tiba.

Trancoso and Arraial (1/2 day)

Trip to Trancoso, visit to its charming bars, restaurants and crafts shops, free time for shopping and visits.

Departure for Arrial D' Ajuda, visiting the most famous streets: " Caminhada da Praia ", broadway with its charming streets and its colorful lighting, shops and traditional restaurants, free time for shopping and visits.

Trancoso by buggy (a la carte)

Tours (1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours) to the beaches of Trancoso or Arraial.
