Discovery Desk

The Discovery Centre offers a variety of excursions (extra cost) to discover the country - registration on the premises, subject to availability.

Discover the coffee factories (1 day)

Discover the Valley do Paraiba to relive one of the biggest events in the history of Brazil, by the river and by the fazendas (coffee plantations) which were developed in the XIXth century. Visit to 3 farms presented by the owners with traditional colonial snacks and lunch.

Ecowalk and trecking (1/2 day)

Accompanied environmental walk in the Atlantic forest which is a part of the Club Med private environmental reserve.

Foz do Iguacu (2 days)

The most beautiful falls in the world. A magnificent festival of waters. More than 275 falls empty into an abyss 3 km wide. Visit to the Argentinian and Brazilian sides, panoramas which complement each other. Ride in an electric train in Macuco National Park. Take a trip to the feet of the falls by speedboat. UNESCO-listed site.

2 days, 1 night.

Historic and Cultural Rio (1 day)

A magnificent walk in the historic centre. St Benoit's monastery. Visit to the most picturesque quarter of the city: Santa Teresa, with its old huts, artists' workshops and the magnificent view of Guanabara Bay.

Ilha Grande by catamaran (1 day)

Visit and sail around the most famous island in Brazil.

Unlimited drinks on board this luxurious boat and to lunch at Saco do Ceu included.

Swim in the emerald waters of the creeks, old pirates' dens, walk to the magnificent Lopes Mendez beach...

Jeep Adventure (1 day)

Discover the history and botany on the "Serro do Piloto". Walk in the Atlantica forest and magnificent stop near a waterfall. Traditional Brazilian meal in the home of an American Indian missionary.

Paraty (1 day)

Guided transfer to the colonial city of Paraty. Lunch wherever you choose and free time.

Rio by night (evening)

Seafood dinner at Mariu's Crustaces restaurant, followed by a show at the Plataforma cabaret, Brazil's Lido.

Rio by Night can be combined with the Rio de Janeiro excursion.

Rio city tour (1 day)

Visit to the Sugarloaf mountain, Corcovado, beaches of Ipanema, Copacabana, Leblon. Have lunch enjoying the famous churrascaria (grilled meats) in Rio.

The islands of Angra (1/2 day)

After a 45min road trip, board to sail around some of the 365 islands of the Costa Verde (green coast).

A splendid scene made up of the wild green of the mountains meeting the emerald waters of the beaches. Wonderful swim, between the islands.

Unlimited drinks on board.
