Excursions

The Discovery Center offers a variety of excursions (extra cost) to discover the country -registration on the premises, subject to availability.

Chichen Itza (1 day)

Discover with our professional guides one of the most famous archeological sites in the world, the Pyramid of Kukulkan, the region of Pok ta Pok, the Temple of 1000 Columns and the astrological watch tower. Listen to the most beautiful events in the culture Maya and Tolteque being told to you, the highlight

Then, take advantage of one hour free time to explore the site at your own pace the site or swim in our magnificent Club Med villa pool. After lunch, we offer you a short stop for shopping before passing through the charming Colonial village of Valladolid.

Coba and Cenote (1 day)

It is always together with our best guides that we invite you to discover Coba, an extraordinary Mayan village which the jungle has kept as a closely guarded secret until recently. On this excursion, by bike, you’ll visit the extensive site of Coba.

Just as the High priests of Maya did ten centuries previously, you will climb the highest pyramid in Yucatan and will embrace an exceptional panorama in a single glance. Then, you will swim in a natural décor of stalactites at the Cho-Ha Cenote. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to meet with a Mayan family.

Ek Balam and Ria Lagartos (1 day)

Ek Balam is the most recent unearthed Mayan site in the Yucatan Peninsula and contains one of the most astonishing monuments of the Mayan World, the “Acropolis”, as well as some of the finest Mayan artistic works.

One of the most important breeding areas of the Pink Flamingo in North America, Ria Lagartos is a Biosphere Reserve at the Gulf of Mexico. These elegant birds can be observed in their natural habitat all year around as well as many other bird species.

Islas Mujeres by catamaran (1 day)

Step aboard the Aventuras for beautiful cruise, a cape on Isla Mujeres (Women's Island), and greet the fish (Parrots, Surgeons, Balistes) in the crystal clear waters of the El Garrafon nature reserve.

Then, we offer you a pleasant tour of the island in a golf buggy. Buffet lunch on the very pretty Los Cocos beach. Enjoy free time (shop or swim it's your choice), and finally return to Cancun having circled Cape Armelita.

Tulum (1/2 day)

Take a morning visit to the archeological site of Tulum, the only fortified site of the Mayan world and protected as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Playa del Carmen (1/2 day)

Playa del Carmen is unmistakeably the trendiest resort of the Riviera Maya and the meeting spot of Mexican Jet-setters... Small shops, bars, cafés and traditional restaurants line the main street, the Quinta Avenida. The 'small St-Tropez' of Yucatan. A must for a charming shopping afternoon.

Swim with dolphins (2 hours)

Time to relax in an aquatic park with a multitude of exciting attractions. Tour includes dolphin encounter as well as water games, aquatic slides and different water attractions offered at the Wet’n Wild Park.

Xcaret (1 day)

Xcaret is an environmental park where you can, at your own pace, benefit from the various attractions on offer: aquarium, butterfly pavilion, visit the sea turtle sanctuary, swim in underground rivers or go snorkeling in the park bay.

In the evening, you have the pleasure of attending one of the most beautiful Mexican folk spectacles.
