Practical Information
Packages include scuba tanks, BCs, fins, masks, regulators and diving belts. Lockers are also provided. And your safety is always considered, as most of our scuba resorts have a nurse and a scuba physician on premises.

Go diving only if you are in good health.
Documents to supply before you get going: Medical self-assessment questionnaire (adopted by Club Med, in accordance with PADI procedures). Can be found on the website, www.clubmed.fr, and downloaded. Fill it in with your GP. Any positive answer to a question on the form will call your fitness into question. As a last resort, the opinion of a doctor on site will be final. A medical certificate attesting to the absence of contraindications to scuba-diving drawn up within the last year by a doctor competent in underwater diving (sports doctor, hyperbaric doctor or a doctor authorised by a scuba-diving federation). Required for taking any 1-star or equivalent CMAS (World Confederation of Underwater Activities) advanced diplomas. At Bora-Bora: a certificate attesting to the absence of contraindications to scuba-diving no more than one week old is required for taking any CMAS diploma.
Identical documents and conditions for “Outside of Club Med” diving offered by outside providers.
Medical examination at your expense. Don’t forget your certificates and record of dives. Children: The following are required for minors: Written authorisation from parents and a medical certificate with ENT examination drawn up in advance by a hyperbaric doctor. This certificate cannot be issued at the Village.
Equipment:Apart from in instructed or supervised diving activities (snorkelling and scuba diving), masks, flippers and snorkels are neither lent nor hired out. It is possible to hire thermal diving suits* and dive computers* at all diving centres. Included in the Packages: cylinder and STAB (inflatable safety system), snorkels, masks, regulators and weight belts. For scuba diving, Club Med safety standards require the activity to stop 12 hours before your return flight in PADI-certified schools.
Off-Site Activities
Activities offered by off-site providers in certain Resorts are at an addiotional charge. Certain activities can be booked at the time of purchasing the Package and/or on site at the Resort (particularly, at these Resorts’ Discovery Spaces). However, availability and sales conditions are those applied by the outside providers in question (particularly where prices and cancellation of these activities are concerned).
Children under 8 years (12 years for water-sports) mut be accompanied by a parent/guardian at anytime during the activity. Except when practising a free-play activity or when under the supervision of Mini Club Med™ G.O.s
All children participating in water-sports must undergo a swimming test. In resorts without children's programs, children from 8 years and up can participate to the activities with the adults: from 12 years for basketball, volley-ball and scuba diving; from 16 years for Club Med Fitness and for access to the weight room.
For free-play activities, children under 8 years (12 years for water-sports) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
